Director of the Medresa “Mehmed Fatih” welcomes the newly appointed coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute in Podgorica

The director of the Medresa “Mehmed Fatih”, Amer Šukurica, welcomed the newly appointed coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute in Podgorica, Mr Imran İpek, at the Medresa.

The meeting covered the cooperation between the Medresa and the Yunus Emre Institute so far, and the possibilities of developing it further through joint cultural, educational and artistic projects.

Director Šukurica thanked Mr İpek for the support the Yunus Emre Institute continuously gives the Medresa “Mehmed Fatih”, particularly in promoting the Turkish language, culture and art.

Mr İpek expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation so far and said that the Yunus Emre Institute sees the Medresa “Mehmed Fatih” as an important partner in strengthening the cultural ties between Montenegro and Türkiye.

As a token of gratitude and friendship, gifts were exchanged.

Colleagues from both institutions also attended the meeting, held in a friendly and cordial atmosphere.
